The Simpsons come alive!

This is quite amazing… a live action title sequence for The Simpsons

It’s made by SkyOne, a British television channel.  Apparently it’s old (March 2006).  Amazing, and I can’t believe I hadn’t seen it until now.

More than a year ago, I asked if there was going to be a DVD release of the great Andy Barker, P.I. show.  Well, today I got an email and… yay, it’s up for a November 17th release…

From Paste who got it from MSNBC’s Keith Olberman… an Arrested Development movie per Jason Bateman “it’s in the works… the grown-ups are trying to work out the numbers.” The source (& video) with Jason Bateman & David Cross is here over at the Paste blog.

Back in December 2007, it was merely a rumor. Now it’s gettin’ better than a rumor… yay!

Andy Barker, P.I.

Andy Barker, P.I. = One of the best shows of recently canceled fame.

It starred Andy Richter as a Certified Public Accountant turned Private Investigator due to taking over the office of a former P.I. I thought it was hilarious… and not just because I’m a CPA… my wife (an artist) loved it, too.

The only primetime show to joke about a 10-key, I’m sure.

It only had 6 episodes. Who do we petition for it to be released on DVD? Or at least BetaMax?

The Strike Strikes Back.

So, I wholly think that this Writer’s Guild strike is a just one. They (the writers) have been getting screwed by the big wigs for royalties for their written material on internet and other distribution, while these big wigs are getting advertising money from said internet and other distribution.

Anyway, Speechless Hollywood has some clever videos put together. Here are my favorites:

Woody Allen

Clever… yet I’d rather the various production companies, the AMPTP and the WGA settle this damn strike.
