Kevin Moore’s “Shine” artwork
As reported about 2 months ago… Kevin Moore (Chroma Key, O.S.I., ex-Dream Theater) is putting out SHINE – the score to the Turkish film Kucuk Kiyamet (2007). The Kickstarter micro-funding goal was easily met, and production is underway. Here is a 6-panel digipack classic Penguin Books-style mock up of the artwork done by Alessandro Falca of Conte di San Pietro:
Alessandro is also currently working on the poster and T-shirt design. The digipack is now finalized and will go to the manufacturer next week. Kevin is hoping to ship preorders late November or early December (2010).

Wow! It looks great… I´m speachless.
Thank you Alessandro, great job :)))
Thumbs up! ;) The design is very good and the album gonna “Shine”! Conte di San Pietro should mean “Count of Saint Peter” in italian language. Cool name!
A new Kevin Moore album! YES!!!!!!!
I can´t wait for this to come! Kevin Moore has put out such a great music over the years, very very interesting stuff.
I´m very interested in this, another soundtrack, another great work I guess. Very nice artwork, ´70s like. :)
Agreed… I’m totally excited. I’m also excited, as he may do other kickstarter things in the future, including Memory Hole 2+…
It would be great if he produce all his albums like that! A lot of other artists are doing the same (see Nine Inch Nails) and getting a great feedback!
The art on the record is really really REALLY pretty, thank you!!!!!!
Is it gonna be available in normal records shops also? Can´t wait for it. Interesting way of promoting an album. A+
Unsure. Unlikely, though – unless for some reason it gets picked up for distribution by one of the labels Kev’s worked with in the past…
But it´s gonna be a limited edition or…?
I discovered the whole project too late, on the Kickstarter page doesn´t say anything about regular distribution or whatnot.
I´ve also noticed from the artwork provided by Alessandro Falca that the barcode is missing. A clue for my theory?
