Fear Factory Redux

Stomp rock / industro-metallers Fear Factory have reformed with a slightly different but equally awesome lineup.  Burton C. Bell (vocals) and Dino Cazares (guitars) have put ill-will behind them.  They are joined by bassist Byron Stoud and insanely awesome drummer Gene Hoglan

I first heard Gene on Death‘s Symbolic record.  The man is insane.  I saw him live with Testament on the Demonic tour… the Wednesday before Thanksgiving 199-something.  My turkey and gravy were never so “ringing in my ears” before.

Expect twitchy-bleep thrashing, machine gun kick drums in your face, and lyrics about androids / robots taking over your mind (or your job)… sigh.  Yeah, lyrically / archetypically, Burton’s in a rut.  But I dig the music…  Read more over at Blabbermouth‘s blog.
